Masterton District CouncilMasterton District Council

We began our work with Masterton District Council in 2004.

The contract that we hold with the Council covers a full spectrum of services, and incorporates the maintenance and management of 45 parks and reserves; full-facility horticultural works, and full-facility sports parks services.

From the beginning of this contact we have ensured open communication with Council and focused on providing services that are both forward thinking and innovative. This has helped us deliver a consistent high-quality standard across all our services – from turf maintenance to the care and design of horticultural displays.

Services We Provide:

Includes mowing and horticulture maintenance for annual, perennials, re-vegetation, roses, shrub gardens, hedges and specimen trees.
Also includes asset maintenance, reporting
and database management.

Sports Parks’ Maintenance

Masterton Sports ParkIncludes care of 9 sports parks, 3 cricket blocks, turf management, mowing and irrigation and facilities maintenance.

Some Current Projects:

Masterton Sports Bowl

We removed the cricket block from the soccer field at the Masterton Sports Bowl, then re-turfed it. The Wairarapa United Premier Football team now have a consistent playing surface that matches other facilities around the country.

QEII Park Rejuvenation

The rejuvenation of the QEII Park is now in its third year. The first two years of the project involved rebuilding the rose garden and re-installing the fernery to its former glory. This year, we have completed new annual beds either side of the Hoskings Garden entranceway – commonly known as the Sunken Garden.
