HEAD OFFICE, AUCKLAND
Aministration Assistant
We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented administrator to develop and expand their skills.
The main focus of this role will be the proactive management of our turf farm (our Turf Division produces high quality performance turf, lawn and grasses for purchase) administration and related processes, including responding to phone related sales requests and queries, processing orders, updating database, stock control and end of month invoicing.
You will also provide a range of general administration functions for the company which could include filing, data entry, invoicing, reporting, telephonist/receptionist duties and act as back-up to other support team positions.
To be successful in this busy and challenging role you will be self-motivated, with great time management skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer services skills and previous experience in office administration.
FAR NORTH
Cleaner
We are currently looking for permanent and casual cleaning staff who can look after our rubbish and sanitation functions, as part of our Far North Parks contract team.
We are ideally seeking locally based applicants (Kerikeri and surrounding areas) who can be flexible with hours and open to working variable schedules which will include early morning starts, weekends and public holidays. Duties include the cleaning and maintenance of toilet and changing blocks, barbeques, rubbish collection and disposal.
Successful applicants will have:
A committed and reliable work ethic.
A meticulous and organised approach to work.
An eye for detail and a strong desire to get the job done to the highest standard.
A current full driver's licence.
Mower Operator
This position is based within the Kerikeri area and involves mowing, weed eating and (at times) rubbish collection. We are seeking an experienced rotary mower operator who will be tasked with looking after the key mowing functions for this Far North contract.
The successful applicant will:
Take pride in their work, ensuring every job is completed to a high standard.
Be reliable and organised, with a strong work ethic.
Hold both a car and heavy traffic licence i.e. HT Class 2.
Have an excellent level of fitness.
AUCKLAND PARKS CONTRACT
Horticulturist
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified horticulturist to work as part of our team based at Mt Wellington. The role includes all aspects of parks, gardens, reserves and streetscape maintenance.
The successful applicant will:
Have at least 2 years proven practical experience in Horticulture/Gardens/Parks maintenance.
Have achieved a relevant New Zealand (or similar overseas) certified Horticulture qualification (Level 4 Certificate in Horticulture).
Hold a car and/or heavy vehicle road licence.
Mower Operator
We have an opening for an experienced mower operator to join the Auckland Parks Contract team based in Mt Wellington on a permanent full-time basis. The duties will include mowing, edging, weeding and rubbish maintenance.
The successful applicant must:
Hold a current car and heavy traffic licence i.e. HT Class 2.
Be a hard and reliable worker, with the desire for ensuring that every job completed is of top quality.
Ideally have previous parks or commercial mowing experience.
